This is Kim's video interview with Terry Fator, as posted by Kim on the Sheridan Media website in the Tuesday, October 02, 2007 news archive.

Terry FatorWINNER OF AMERICA’S GOT TALENT, TERRY FATOR, PERFORMS AT THE WYO THEATER - Terry Fator, ventriloquist, celebrity impressionist, and singer extraordinaire, is performing at the WYO Theater this week in two sold-out shows: Monday, October 1st and Tuesday, October 2nd. Sheridan Media’s Kim Keown attended Monday’s show, and Terry Fator and his stage crew graciously allowed Kim to go backstage, where Terry gave a video interview. The show itself was funny and very entertaining. Terry and his singing “characters” impersonated a variety of celebrities such as Garth Brooks, Maroon Five, Natalie Cole, and Kermit the Frog. Perhaps the most entertaining part of the show was an impersonation of Michael Jackson attempting to sing a country song, with Terry in costume wearing the red jacket and white glove. Both children and adults enjoyed the show, and it was truly fun for all ages. For more information on upcoming WYO Theater events, visit www.wyotheater.com. Please keep in mind that this is a very amateur & rather old video. I'm a poor videographer, especially trying to figure out the lighting! But at least it gives an idea of what I look like, and how my voice sounds.

There are two versions of this Video Clip -- a larger file size for those with a fast Internet connection, and a small file size for those with lower-speed Internet.

- The quality and resolution of the large file is better, and the picture plays smoothly from start to finish.

- The small file is faster to load, but the quality is lower because of the file compression. However, it also has extra editing. (See the description above its Download Link.)

- You can fast-forward or rewind to any section of a clip by dragging the progress button, once the video has fully loaded.

Large-Size 340-kbps Video Clip
(recommended)

The picture plays smoothly, and the resolution is as good as the clip gets. The 1st section is dark, but the 2nd and 3rd sections are much lighter.

Smaller 3.5 MB Video Clip

This version should load faster for those with slower Internet speed.

This clip has had extra editing done on it, so the 1st section is lighter/brighter and the transitions are really neat. The downside is that the viewing quality and resolution is quite a bit lower because of the small file size. Thanks to Leon/Abofdis for the extra editing!

To View A Video Clip: Click a Text-Link or Push the Play Button.

  • Windows Media Player(assuming it's on your computer) will open and begin playing the clip.
It should not take long for the clip to load and start.

Once the video has fully loaded, you can fast-forward or rewind to any section of a clip by dragging the progress button.

Important!
View this Video using the smallest picture-viewing option available. The resolution is decent in the small window, but looks terrible and blurry at full screen!
If the window is not small automatically - or if the resolution isn't that great:

  • Under the WMP 'View' tab, go to 'Video Size'
    OR
Right-Click the WMP video screen, then use the pop-up window.

Check 'Fit Player To Video On Start'. (Make sure 'Fit Video To Player On Resize' is NOT checked.)
  • Make sure either 50% or 100% is selected, depending on which size looks best.
