| Printable Comp-Cards
Those who want to print Kim's Composite Cards or BW Headshot can download these:
These downloads are in Microsoft Word format. The Comp-Cards will fit on a 5"x7" sheet of double-sided photo paper. The BW Headshots will fit on either a 5.5"x8.5" or/ 8.5"x11" sheet of single-sided photo paper. (For the 1/2-Page 5.5"x8.5" Cards, just turn your 8.5"x11" sheet of paper to the Landscape position, and cut it in half.)
All photos are adjusted for brightness/contrast to print well on either glossy or matte photo paper. Make sure your printer is set to the correct paper type, as the results will vary if the 'Glossy Photo Paper' setting is used on Matte Photo Paper, and vise-versa.
Please note that computer monitor and printer color settings vary, and so will the print quality.
- Click the link and open the file.
- The margins are already set correctly for printing this card in the Word program.
- Make sure your printer is set for the correct paper-type. I recommend setting your print properties to 'Photo With Text'. Then, use the 'Glossy Photo Paper' setting if printing on glossy paper, and the 'Matte Photo Paper' setting if printing on matte paper.
- If printing a 5"x7" Comp-Card, you may need to adjust the paper size to 'Custom 5"x7"'. (The 8.5"x11" BW Headshot obviously uses the standard paper size; the 5.5"x8.5" BW Headshot uses a 1/2-Page 5.5"x8.5" paper size.)
- If using double-sided paper, make sure your printer is set to the double-sided printing option, or else print the pages one-at-a-time. I recommend printing the 2nd Page first, then allow it to dry before printing the 1st page.
